A wedding in UP got called off because of 2 Rasgullas. Yes, you read that right, 2 Rasgullas!

As diverse as the country itself, India’s wedding traditions are a talk of legend. We have heard of 400 Crore weddings, Bride and Grooms entry involving spaceships, we have also heard of a wedding getting called off because of the choice of biryani! But, what happened earlier this week tops the list!

It happened in Kurmapur village in Unnao district, about 70 km from Lucknow. The marriage of Shiv Kumar (25), a resident of Khutaha village in Unnao, was arranged by his father one Satyanarayan with Kamini (name changed) from the nearby Kurmapur village.

The baraatis reached the village, with the groom,  to solemnize the marriage on April 14. Inebriated

Rasgulla Wedding by The Wedding Planners Diary

Drunk baraatis gyrated on loud music when they reached the venue. They were welcomed by the bride’s father and relatives, with a sprinkle of rose petals. Cold drinks and steamed hot coffee were served with snacks.

Since the baraat had reached a little late, the groom’s father requested for dinner as soon as the dwaarchaar (ceremony at bride’s door) begin. Baraatis were requested to have dinner the moment the ceremony began.

A lavish buffet spread was laid out in a seperate pandal for the baraatis to enjoy.

Wedding Buffet

Suddenly, a heated argument ensued between the dumb shit cousin of the bride and an idiotic cousin of the groom.Lol, this is where it begins.

The groom’s cousin, Manoj, served himself two rasgullas, much to the annoyance of a close relative of the bride, who was managing the sweet stall. He was instructed to serve only one rasgulla to each baraati. The infuriated relative objected to Manoj taking two rasgullas.

Arguments turned into a scuffle and soon more baraati’s joined Manoj and beat up the bride’s relative. The venue soon turned into a free for all.

Punches and blows were being exchanged like they are in a bar fight. Both sides grabbed whatever they could get their hand’s on and started hurling it at each other. The food pandal came crashing down in no time.

The bide and the groom’s father, who were performing the dwaarchaar ceremony, ran towards the war zone to understand what led to the sudden free-for-all. They tried to pacify but none of the sides backed down.An angry idiotic Manoj, along with other baraatis, abused and thrashed up the bride’s father and other close relatives. It got to a point where someone was about to pull a gun, but to everyone’s surprise, better sense prevailed.

The police, somehow, counseled both sides and restored peace. Village elders and the panchayat were called to sort out the issue and allow the marriage ceremony to be solemnized in their presence. The bride, who was seeing the whole drama from the rooftop refused to marry, I wonder why.

Both sides repented the incident over an extra rasgulla and pleaded the girl to complete the marriage ceremony. But she did not budge even on repeated requests from her parents. Finally, the marriage was called off. Gravies on their faces and dresses, baraatis and groom returned to their village without the bride.

I can not even understand how many different types of dumb and disgusting one has to be to be able to behave like this, period. It does not matter whether it is a wedding or at home, how fucking stupid can you be ?

What wrestler John Cena did to his girlfriend Nikki Bella after a tag-team match will leave you speechless…

We all at some point in our life have watched WWE. The brutality which men and women inflict on each other would keep us gripped to the edge of our seats but what happened at the end of a recent mixed tag team match between John Cena and Nikki Bella against The Miz and Maryse has left us in smiles….

Cena dropped to one knee and presented Bella with a beautiful engagement ring !!

While you gasp at the size of the stone that sits atop that beautiful ring, lets get a bit of background about the happy couple.

In real life, John Cena and Nikki Bella have been dating since November 2012. It’s not one of those situations where there is a fake romance between WWE characters but not between the people portraying them;this is real and it is happening!

This proposal had been heavily telegraphed on WWE television for months in advance, with Cena engaged in a storyline in which his girlfriend is repeatedly mocked because she wants to get married while her boyfriend, John Cena, does not.

All we at The Wedding Planners Diary can say is, we wish the newly engaged couple the best and hope their journey together is as exciting as their job!
